“等等”的一詞多譯
漢語的“等等”在英語中除了有拉丁文et cetera來的縮寫詞etc.外，還有以下常用的習慣表達法：
一、and so on, and so forth, and so on and so forth
1. She spends her day doing housework, watching television, reading, and so on.
她以做家務、看電視、看書報等等度過一天。
2. The grocer deals in tea, coffee, spices, and so forth.
